I’m the founder and owner of Seed & Oak Counseling, and a licensed therapist based in Decatur, GA. I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with honesty, insight, and intention.

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons—maybe you're seeking relief, hoping for change, or trying to better understand yourself or your relationships. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you carry more power and possibility than you may realize. Often, we find ourselves stuck in unconscious habits or relational patterns that shape outcomes we never intended. My role is to help you recognize these patterns, reclaim your agency, and begin creating the life—and relationships—you truly want.

In our work together—whether in person or online across Georgia—I’ll take the time to really know you. I offer honest, compassionate feedback tailored to your individual and relational needs. We’ll explore your inner world and the dynamics that show up in your relationships, building clarity and deepening self-awareness along the way. My foundation is in psychodynamic therapy, but I also draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to support your growth.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in spiritual care as a hospital and hospice chaplain. That work taught me how to be present with people in crisis and grief—but I longed to build deeper, more enduring relationships with clients. Becoming a therapist allowed me to walk alongside people not only during difficult seasons, but throughout their healing and transformation.

I also bring the perspective of someone who’s sat on the other side of the therapy room. I know what it’s like to sit on the couch, and how vulnerable it can feel to begin this work, and I know the power of what’s possible when you do. Therapy helped me break free from the patterns that once held me back, and I bring that empathy into every session.

So how long will we work together? Just long enough to help you get where you want to go—because your life, your growth, and your relationships are waiting for you beyond the therapy room.
